The first 10 pounds are the hardest . . .
and after a week on my current regimen, I have lost eight of those first ten. The loss will be slower after this week, but I am motivated and sticking to the plan, so I know that there will be less of me to love during the coming months.

way to go! i know how hard it can be to stick to a program. there used to be more of me than what you have seen.

I plan to lose 170 pounds in the coming week. 175 if you count craig. (kent and craig go to tournament)

Congrats, Joseph, on the weight loss. What diet are you on? (Atkins? South Beach?). Fill me in.
(I finally gave up on the whole Diet thing and just started the gym in May. I'm avoiding the whole fatness-is-a-result-of-food tact -- and started by just addressing my activity level.)
